NYOrtho Gait Belts allow for safe handling and mobility of elderly or weak jointed patients. Gait Belts help caregivers provide support and prevent falls. The NYOrtho gait belts also protect caregivers' back and reduce risk of back injury while assisting the patient.

The NYOrtho Gait Belts are made of sturdy and comfortable 2 Inch cotton webbing. Offered in a variety of colors to fit all needs. Neutral colors are available for subtle use or bright patterns are available for ease of recognition.

Nickel-plated buckles allow for superior hold and extra durability. Also available with an easy to slip on Delrin (plastic) buckle.

Place belt around patient’s waist with the tag facing outward on the left side of the patient and the buckle in the center of patient's waist. To fasten gait belt, thread metal-tipped end through buckle hinge, over teeth, and through slot at back of buckle. Pull at each end of the buckle to tighten and ensure fasten securement.

The NYOrtho Gait Belts can be machine washed on lukewarm setting and dried on low to maintain pristine condition.
