Made from durable, heat-resistant food-grade glass that is about 20% heavier than many standard 1-gallon jars, giving it a thicker build and improved stability during fermentation. The heavier construction provides a stronger, more reliable jar for everyday brewing and food storage.

Each jar includes an Econolock airlock that allows fermentation gases to escape while helping keep outside air and contaminants out. Easy to assemble and clean, it creates a controlled environment for brewing kombucha, beer, wine, or fermented vegetables.

Each jar features a BPA-free lid with a built-in grommet for a tight, leak-resistant seal that won’t rust like metal lids. The lines sometimes visible on the bottom of the jar are normal mold lines from the glass manufacturing process—not cracks or damage—and do not affect strength or performance.
